About Brigitte Hughes

Born and raised in Germany, Brigitte Hughes relocated to the Columbus area in 1991 when her family was transferred to Fort Benning. Before moving to the United States, Brigitte worked as an auditor for the German IRS, where she developed strong skills in organization, attention to detail, and financial analysis—qualities that continue to benefit her clients today.

As the wife of a military servicemember for more than 20 years, Brigitte understands firsthand the unique challenges that come with military life, including PCS moves, tight timelines, deployments, and frequent relocations.

Brigitte began her real estate career in 2001 and transitioned into full-time real estate in 2013. Since then, she has proudly served military families, veterans, and active-duty service members throughout both Georgia and Alabama, including the Columbus area and surrounding communities.

As a Military Relocation Specialist, Brigitte is dedicated to making the moving process as smooth and stress-free as possible. She has extensive knowledge of VA financing, military timelines, new construction, and the local communities surrounding Fort Benning. Whether you are relocating to the area, receiving new orders, transitioning out of the military, or searching for your forever home, Brigitte understands what matters most and knows how to guide you through every step.

With years of experience in both resale and new construction homes, Brigitte helps her clients understand the market, evaluate financing options, determine the best timing for a move, and develop the right strategy for buying or selling.
